The Adult Boxing classes run by Whitley Amateur Boxing Club are designed for anyone who would like to learn the fundamentals of Boxing, benefiting boxing fitness and assisting with mental health without progressing to compete. If you are interested in training as a boxer in a boxer’s environment without the full contact combat but using the same rigorous workouts, then this is the class for you!

When done correctly boxing is not just an arm workout, it is a full-body workout – legs, core, back, shoulders and arms, as well as cardiovascular workout. As well as achieving a high level of fitness, you will gain confidence and learn self-defence techniques. Every class is a full-body workout session, training the major muscle groups and core in balance, prioritising either the upper or lower body or core muscle groups during the circuit training phase of the class.
